The Start of the 2022 Season!

This is a friendly reminder that our first OFFICIAL day of practice is August 8th @ 3pm. We will meet on the south end of the track where we met for summer running.
Please know that you must be registered AND have a physical on file with the school. It is ok to bring your physical with you that day and turn it in to me.
Thank you to Aly, Abby, Andy and Anna W who have all registered already, WOO HOO!!!
And double bonus points to Andy whose physical is up to date for the whole season :)
Please note, Coach Miller and I have created a point system which will determine who earns Varsity letters and their numerals at the end of the season. Showing up on day 1 of practice being registered with an up to date physical on file counts for 5 points!
Our goal is to encourage and reward positive teammate behavior that will improve the quality of our performances as a team and as individuals. We want it to MEAN something to you to be a part of this team and to feel as though not just anyone can come to practice a few times and earn the same numerals as you do. That being said - we still want to encourage as many athletes as possible to try out our practices to see if they like it. After all, they won't know until they try!
Some dates to put on your calendar...
First day of Practice - Monday Aug 8th @ 3pm
Parent/Athlete Meeting - Friday, Aug 19th @ 5:00pm we will have our season parent meeting (both parents and athletes are requested to attend.)
Beach Day - Friday, Aug 26th - we provide transportation to and from the school to North Avenue beach. Time estimate: Roughly 8am - 3 or 4pm depending on traffic
Hornet Red Devil - Sat, Sept. 3rd - this is our first large invite and we host it. PLEASE DO NOT GO OUT OF TOWN for this meet! If you already have something scheduled, please let me know ASAP. Thanks :)
