1982 Season
Head Coach: Mike Madsen
Junior Eileen Slowikowski led the Girl's Cross Country team to a very successful season. The team had an 8-5 record, bringing home trophies from several big invitationals, including the Hornet/Red Devil and Rich Central Meets.
The Hornette Harriers ended the season with a third place standing in conference and placed second in the regional meet. Other outstanding achievements include the setting of many course records by co-captain Eileen Slowikowski.
Coach Madsen said, "that losing co-captain Katie Busch to an injury early in the season was a big disappointment, but the girls got the most out of their abilities as a team."
