1987 Season
Head Coach: Mike Madsen
Positive Mental Attitude was the girls' cross country motto. With this the girls ran to a 4-2 record in conference standings. Team captain, Rachel Doepke, worked with her harriers to boast a 5-3 record in dual meets.
The competition was tough, yet all the runners put in their best effort. A third place finish in conference was highlighted by All-Conference Rachel Doepke's time of 12:41, good enough for 6th place, and Dawn Kristola's 12th place time of 13:10. Rachel went on to represent the team at Sectionals.
