2001 Season

"I felt that we had a very successful season. We had a lot of things happen, and were successful on all three levels. We had the most runners out we've ever had on the team, and only two of those were seniors. In the group that ran at sectionals, there were two juniors, and the rest were underclassmen. In conference, all three groups finished well. The fresh/soph team won, and JV and Varsity took 2nd place. Overall, I was very happy with the season, " said Coach Mike Madsen.
"When we had Saturday tournaments, we would have team pasta parties the night before. Also, we had big sister/little sister nights. For each meet we gave our sister a bag with food, drinks, and presents. Also, we'd say the 'Go Hornets' cheer before every meet," said Neve Kulkarni.
